STAY AWAY. As far as a gym goes, this place is fine. But the people running it? Scoundrels, thugs, liars, and thieves. From the ground up all the way to the top. They took advantage of my sweet wife who canceled her membership, but they continued charging her for the greater part of a year. After many requests for them to fix the issue, she begged me to handle it. I gave the manager a piece of my mind over the phone, and he said he'd call me back the next day. The good news is that they finally canceled it once I threatened to go to corporate, but the manager never called back, and they did not refund the $300 they stole from my dear wife. Shame on the management, shame on the whole team, and shame on corporate for terrible accountability. I hope this place goes under. You reap what you sow.

Paid 1300 for a trainer , expected a more intense training, nutrition guide , and one on one . What a waste

If you’re coming out of state & want to come for a week don’t. They’ll just charge you even after you call and talk to a manager to cancel because you’re no longer local. They make canceling so hard as if they can’t do it themselves.

I remembered it all went down this past Thursday 09/14/2023, I was in the area decided to work out at this location. Met this dude at front desk, the only dude who works that morning besides this other super woman with glasses. I vividly remembered his name was Andrews or Andrés or undressed, anyway he kind of reminds of me of Ed Sheeran but Hispanic style! Kind of a liar at first glance, but even more of a liar after he starts the sells pitch! He told me if I sign up for all paid off 15 months membership I could save 225 dollars($350 for 15 month), and all club access except for all the newer Gold's gym's pretty much narrows down to this gym and West Covina gym, that's yet. Wow so 2 gym access only? How is that all club? Yes all regional gyms which narrows down to this two(cause there is only this two in the region)! Wow 'fewer and far in between' is the perfect phrase for gold's gym. "Oh we are building more!" Replies by Undressed(Andrés). How many time I can access Rancho gym? 14 times? A month? Not bad, A year? Andrew You liar! Might as well make your favorite gym your home gym, cause you will have unlimited access for the money you paid for! Oh and if you want do that it's 18 month all paid membership for 700 dollars, and this price you will have all access to any gold gym in the country 245 total (except for other states gyms), which pretty much nailed down to California only(By the way I found out all the exceptions after he sold me the membership)! Oh you do have 14 times a year for other states if you happened to travel any other states who has gold gym( fewer and far in between). He end up sold me the 35 dollar a month membership with 35 cents for the first month, another lie, as soon as I hand over the credit card, he charged me the 35 dollar, and when I asked him why after a week later, he said that's the last month you paid, your first month is free, but he told me before I paid we will charge you the last month after you decide to cancel your membership, which is misleading. Anyway make sure you check your credit card statements weekly don't get sucker into those lies!

I tried to get some info andI was invited to come in for a free day, then they couldn't let me come in on my schedule for the free day because not one employee could come in at 5am opening, so they told me I couldn't come in for a free day. Then they wouldn't stop harassing me to come in when they were available. MULTIPLE EMPLOYEES CALLED ME FOR DAYS!! What a surprise that Golds gym had such bad customer service.

Golds gym used to have a good reputation but now it's getting worse. They charge money if you want to change your membership plan. I just found out that they have a 30 day notice period for cancellation of membership. I cancelled today but still they are going to charge me for 1 more month. They say it's their "policy" which they never mention verbally at the time you join. Switching back to PF, at least they have flexibility. The gym and machines are good but customer service and policies are not what I expected.

I remember it being a bodybuilding gym my pops went to in the 80's, Gold Gym in Orange. Still better the 24 hour.

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. Numerous machines are often in disrepair, and the pool frequently appears dirty with what seems to be an oily film on the surface. The employees here are not friendly; in fact, they can be very rude. Overall, it's not a place I would recommend due to these issues. It’s seems a It’s GHETTO PLACE.

This Gold’s Gym has some stringent policies in effect. Unlike other Gold’s Gym that permit customers to bring friends and allow them to stay even if the customer departs first, this gym follows a distinct set of rules. They maintain a zero-tolerance policy and may contact the authorities if someone lingers inside after their accompanying customer leaves. This lack of flexibility in their approach can give the impression that customers and potential clients are handled with a level of inflexibility that may not be considered ideal. The customer service experience at this gym leaves much to be desired.
