XSport Fitness

If you decide to go to XSport, don’t have your expectations too high. It’s not the best gym out there but it’s sure the best value you get for your money. I decided to go with “pay for one year in advance, get one year free” deal. I paid around $480, it makes $20 per month for two years for all but 3 locations in Chicagoland! That’s awesome deal! I drive for living so being able to access multiple locations is a big deal for me. Sure, there is a lot of room for improvement but but I get all I need over there.

It’s the worst fitness center in my live. Guys, it’s better to choose LA fitness or Life Time. Don’t do my mistakes!! It’s unreal to cancel account here. All the staff has boorish attitude to their clients. They charged me after canceling my account and now they don’t want to return my money back. But manager promised me and after it he “is not available” all the time. Shame on you, xsport fitness. I will never recommend anyone to go to this center.

I can’t stay silent any longer. Nothing is clean in this gym and the custodian staff is not being managed properly. When diving in the pool you can’t see 10 feet in front of you because of the cloudy water. There is routinely no soap in the showers. They cut off towel service under the guise of “saving the planet”. I’m all for saving the planet when it’s not a ploy to cut costs and member services.

Going green. This is what we were told when they got rid of towels. Getting rid of reusable towels is going green by their definition. Now everyone is using paper towels. The only thing that is getting green here are the pockets of the owners.They have now started selling towels, $5 a piece. People please dont support this company by buying any overpriced products they sell and paying anything more than the membership.Everything is broken and fixed with a bandage instead of doing a proper fix, includes a 2x4 that is holding up a sink, dirt everywhere, full garbage cans and pretty disturbing smell in the bathroom. Half the machines are broken or just simply unsafe to use. Overpriced products that you are pushed to buy by people upfront that are saying they are on "sale". Overall not a honest or good company to be a customer of

Had a horrible experience with the stuff, feels like all they do is try to rip you off. The gym itself looks fine, I never ended up using it though because of the bad experience with the management. Check twice before signing, there are a lot of cheaper plans they don't tell you about. For example you can only pay $10 monthly, not 40! And with a more pricy plan you can always bring a guest for free. But don't expect them to tell you about, do your own research!

So far so good, have been here for a few months. Love the hot tub and sauna, open 24 hours. I wish I had known about the pool I would've joined a lot sooner. I can also bring a guest (by 9pm). Just wish they had a lost and found system because there is none now.

Very disappointing experience!!! **Please note that you have by law 3 days to cancel your membership after signing to any gym with full refund.On the day we signed up, the manager Andrew and everyone at the X-Sport was super nice to us that we were excited to start our membership. Unfortunately our circumstances changed and on the 2nd day we knew that we had to cancel our membership. On the 3rd day after signing up, we went back to request our cancellation. The front desk person, gave us the paper to sign but wouldn't provide a copy. After I insisted on the copy because its a legal document, hes excuse was that their printer wasn't working. When I pointed out that the printer was working, he gave me other excuses but I insisted on taking picture of the cancellation form that I signed to which he finally gave in. Once I asked when should I expect my refund the front desk person, said there won't be refund to which I explained that by law X sport fitness needs to refund me fully since I cancelled within 3 days. He asked me to wait for the manager, now this is the same manager that signed us up. Andrew the manager saw us but kept ignoring us and taking other clients that walked in after us. We patiently waited for 30 minutes and I had to interrupt the client that he was taking too. I kindly apologized to the clients that I really need to talk to Andrew, and that we been waiting for more then 30 minutes and that he keeps taking clients that walked in before us. Andrew had no choice but to help us after that, he was very dismissive, kept interrupting me saying that he doesn't have tome for me. We were very shocked, because just 2 days ago, he was so nice and now acted like a different person. We left very disappointed because at the end of the day, we all need to treat each other like human beings. If we ever signed up again, I highly don't recommend this location to any one. This location, only treats you well if you sign up and if you want to cancel then they will ignore you to the fullest and be very rude to you.

The bathrooms are never clean, ridiculous. When it comes to working out I can care less if the place is not in tip top shape... But I mean at least the bathrooms should be maintained!? The women's bathroom has dust all over; the corners of the room where you wash your hands has collection of dust right in front of you. I can go on and on, just not a clean place. I'm not a member at this gym, I only go as a guest, hopefully this will be an eye opener for the staff.

This gym definitely has its pros and cons. The facility it fairly large, which does make it nice that it can accommodate a larger number of people during peak hours. They offer a wide variety of services, including a spa, smoothie bar, childcare, rock wall and pool. The customer service and cleanliness of the spa equipment does leave a bit to be desired.Even taking into consideration what this gym offers, I would still consider them pretty pricey in comparison to others in the area.EDIT: After having major billing issues for almost a week, with the gym refusing to cooperate, and in addition were EXTREMELY rude, I've decided to cancel my membership and go elsewhere. My tip would be, don't waste your money here.

I am super disappointed with the customer service. I requested the freeze period but was being charged again and again. I called the first two times to make sure what was going on and to get my money back because my membership has to be frozen until December. The two times when I called, I was told that it was until August for some reasons. However, I have my request form that proves that it is until December. I had to resent my request again and was promised to get my money back. I have been waiting for three weeks for the refund! I think I am going to cancel my membership at all because that is so annoying that I have to keep calling. The customer service is not friendly at all and even did not apologize for their mistake. :/
