I've been a member here for 15 years. It was great when it first opened but there's been a steady decline in the cleanliness and quality of personnel, no matter what day you're here expect many machines to be "out of order" or just not working properly, I was in line 2 days ago and I heard 3 different people come up asking to cancel their memberships.Update6/21/19 - I've been paying $34/month for 15 years. I would hear that other members were paying lower amounts and when I would ask about it and constantly be told some BS. My wife is paying $10/month, I asked about lowering my cost to $10 and once again I was told that by actually lowering my membershit to $10/month, I'd be paying more... WTF?! No math majors here. Needless to say I canceled my membershit last night. See the photos I took yesterday as well.

Worst staff, unclean locker rooms, old and dirty equipment. Beware taking out a membership. There are multiple clauses and loopholes making it impossible to cancel without paying for another month (must MAIL a letter outlineing your reasons for cancellation, you'll need to certify mail it since it will likely "get lost in the mail" unless you have proof it arrived). Good luck calling customer service without waiting at least 30mins, apparently there is only a few people handling calls. Pro tip: call exactly at 8am CT to save yourself a couple minutes.

Dont sign up here unless you intend to have that membership for the rest of your life. Cancelling a membership here is impossible. Good luck if any aspect of your life should change in the future and require you to cancel your membership. They do not care. They will protest your attempt to cancel payments and fight with your credit card company insisting that charges are valid. I’ve sent letters to corporate and done everything in my power to cancel. No luck yet after a year of trouble. Never been more sickened by a company in my life.

Let me start by saying this is the cleanest XSport I’ve ever visited. Lockers are huge and showers are spacious and water pressure is how it should be. Sauna and steam room are clean! I can’t believe how clean they are compared to other locations! Gym itself is smaller than Schaumburg location but not that bad. I do get what some people are saying about the snotty vibe but if you are like me just focus on yourself and don’t worry about anybody else. Not here to make friends, here to make gains!

I signed up almost a year ago and was never informed that there was a $10 membership. I was being charged $40 a month for access to other gym locations etc, which I never did. I later found out from friends that there was a $10 membership. I called to see if I could switch and was denied unless I pay $90. I have been overpaying for almost a year. I work in sales so I understand the downpayment aspect, but I was never informed that there was another option which I explained to them. Transparency is important and so is service aptitude which clearly they are lacking.

This club is just filthy! I hardly ever see members clean the equipment they just used, instead they leave it all covered in their sweat! Don’t bother airing your grievances to the staff either. They’re like a revolving door with their high turnover. Also, there seems to be a high amount of theft occurring in the locker rooms, so definitely leave your valuables at home or on your person. Don’t know about you all, but I for one will not be renewing my membership here.

Overall my experience was not bad, I moved and am now no where near an xsport so I canceled my membership. 2 months later they are still taking money out of my account. Other bills were coming out which lead my account to over draw, which lead to more fees from my bank, so I've been paying more just by canaceling. very unorganized the staff needs to be trained to do their job and held accountable when their not. Now xsport is stealing money from me they have no right nor permission to take anything from me. Now I have to wait and talk with corporate, I'd like to hold xsport responsible for not only they payments they took out but the insufficient funds fees they've caused.
