I go to this gym nearly everyday. There are no issues with the gym just one staff member in particular that i find difficult to deal with. She never greets you when you walk in. You're lucky if she is even facing the door or at the front desk. Anytime I try to inform her about something being broken, paper towel dispenser being empty, or how there had been a gatoraid bottle on the floor for 3 days. I get a blank stare with silence or as of today I got the response "I haven't been here for the last 3 days". My response was "I'm not blaming you, just informing you. Everyone is supposed to be able to clean the equipment, how are they supposed to do so when the dispensars are jammed or empty?". This is your job. It is part of your job to keep the place clean and up to par. If a customer is letting you know something is empty just say thanks and get it fixed no big deal.

This place is DISGUSTING. It smells so bad, like a sewer.I don’t know what gym these other reviewers are walking into that they are saying is clean. It’s not.Everything looks and feels grimy. the night staff are rude and seem bothered by your presence because heaven forbid they have to stop hiding or texting to wipe a tanning bed down for you 30 seconds before you go use it. Why not just have them cleaned and ready? Tonight i walked in just wanting to tan, the guy working says “it’s 2am” ....okay? Your point? Last time I checked there is no cutoff time for tanning and I’m a 3rd shifter. So this is when I’m up and coming to tan and work out.Won’t be returning. I will make the drive to Brunswick or wadsworth from now on because at least THOSE gyms are clean and the staff are exceptional.Then again, it is Parma. Can’t expect much in the first placeUpdate: thanks for your reply, but in case I wasn’t clear enough, your facility is REPULSIVE in all aspects. You should be ashamed. “Training” the current staff wont save you. Getting rid of your staff and replacing them with friendly, non-lazy people would be in your best interest.

Horrible customer service! I have not been to this club since August 2017 and they have been automatically billing me every month since for over a year...which I was not aware of until now. I tried to suspend my account until I was ready to go back because of ankle surgery, but they said I had to cancel instead. When they canceled my account they said that I owe dues for the year... What? I asked the Manager (did not get her name) if she could adjust my account so I didn't have to pay dues for services not used. She said she couldn't help me and nothing she could do....Stoned faced and unapologetic. These people took my money for a year AND still managed to drain me for dues. I was only asking them to waive the dues since I didn't use their facilities. Really Planet Fitness? This is how you do business? I was planning on coming back, but not now and will make sure I tell others to avoid these vultures.

We love planet fitness in Parma! This location has all of the equipment needed to get/stay physically fit. The super positive environment is always welcoming, as is the staff. Kurt is always quick to lend a helping hand in building some great workouts. He is also constantly cleaning which is great seeing as flu season is upon us. Wonderful job planet fitness!

This place saved my life. After I joined and worked out alone, I finally got the courage to o ask for the personal trainer. Robert, indeed showed me better ways to train. He was very professional and pushed me when I needed pushing. I've lost 62 lbs. In the last 6 months. And I enjoy coming there 😉. Although Robert gas moved on to another place.. I am totally grateful for his teaching and for Planet fitness!!!

Not as clean as you think. Went there and went to take a shower after my workout and it was absolutely gross and disgusting. There was a clump of hair in one of the showers coving the drain, no water pressure in another and the shower stunk so bad of sewage and I didn't even want the bother with the other one there. I felt grosser checking out the showers than I did after my workout! Staff did absolutely NOTHING. I went to try the massage bed and had to clean it off BEFORE I went on it as the pillow for it was on the ground. The floor looked like it hadn't been clean in months and I was too afraid to take my shoes off in there since I felt like I might get something just touching the ground. When I lifted the pillow off the ground, it was covered in dust, grey with clumps of dust attached, and who knows what else. I wanted to try their total body enhancement machine but didn't feel confortable doing that since the rest of the place seemed disgusting. Don't go here if you want a clean gym... Their website states that they take pride in a clean gym, they need to reevaluate what clean is. Instead of having to rely on their clients to clean and keep the gym clean, they should look into getting a janitor or 2 for this.

I have mixed feelings about this place so bare with me.I have been to other gyms before and I have always felt welcomed at PF more so than at other gyms. On the other hand the staff during the day likes to goof around and not pay attention to what needs to be done (a huge reason I love coming at night)The gym is always being cleaned so that’s a bonus however they don’t seem to follow their own rules when it comes to dress code. Maybe I’m blind but I have seen nothing but dudes with string T-shirt’s (why even wear a T-shirt at that point) and girls who love wearing shorts with their butt cheeks out in the open. It clearly states when you walk in that that’s against the rules. Other than that it’s a pretty decent gym, tanning beds aren’t bad either.

It’s definitely no fancy PF, but it’s got decent equipment choices, up to 75 lb. free weights, and is open late. The staff is typically friendly, but not very helpful, it seems. Had some issues with my account and no one even told me, TWICE, until my bill was racked up and I had to pay a large chunk instead. Otherwise, it’s a gym and functions as so. Some of the tanning beds are cracked or the buttons are funky/don’t work too.

The day dr location isn’t that bad, not as clean as it should be though. A lot of customers don’t clean the machines after use and the men’s locker room is always kinda dirty (tonight a couple pairs of boxers where on the floor). The guy who works third shift is alright, but there’s also a lady that works nights sometimes and she’s not so great..by that I mean doing her job if your lucky to see her.Other then that there is plenty of machines to use and not to busy around 12am. I’d go and prob give 5 stars if it was properly cleaned/supplied.**update**Hard to talk to the manager when I go there at night...seeing how a manager doesn’t work at night and I’m not gonna go out of my way to make your business run how it’s supposed to be ran.

Perfectly decent place to go for the low price. I've been to newer PFs and this one could use a little love and remodel. However, for $10, I'll take it!
