Not a "Super" experience. Bathrooms are disgusting. They can afford 3 people for the juice bar but nobody for janitorial duty? During the buisiest time for the gym? You guys just raised our rates and are still putting out this weak product. Will strongly consider changing gyms.

This gym is filthy and disgusting!!! All the equipment is sticky and/or out of order and trashes are always full. Bathrooms are like restrooms at parks. There is garbage ALL OVER the parking lot! A gym with this volume (downtown san jose) should be able to afford a cleaning service! And what's even worse is the staff knows of the filthiness and doesn't clean. Employees are always crowded in the front talking never cleaning. I'm particularly pissed at the current club manager Mike. I went in to cancel because of the filthiness (even showing him pictures!) and he offered to refund me for the month saying they have a new cleaning guy starting. He asked that i email him these pictures which i did and i have no idea what he did with them bec that place is still filthy. So i received my refund only to be charged later in the month again for the membership. I've been trying to reach him for weeks to get this resolved and he's never there. Figures. So my cc company ends up charging me $14 interest because of this ONE CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT. AND OF COURSE THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME. This company is a joke with horrible customer service!! As a club manager, you shouldn't be so negligent and keep your word especially when i did you a favor by sending you pictures! I was ready to leave and call it a day and i should have. But now i get to pay extra to cancel when the error is completely on 24hr fitness. Save your time and money (membership is extremely overpriced anyways, you're paying extra for convenience) and go to a gym that cares about your experience at the facility and doesn't have negligent managers and lazy employees, which is a reflection of management as well.

I visited this gym from out of town and those that complained about the smelly and dirty parking lot are accurate, however, most of the smell comes from the traffic on the freeway and airport which are fairly close. However, that doesn't excuse the dirty parking lot. The gym itself is large and it was easy to move from one piece of equipment to another between 5:30 and 7:30 am. The equipment was clean and was being cleaned while i was there. The front counter employee was not welcoming at all as he sat there with his feet up on the counter listening to his tunes from his phone. Regardless, I was there to workout and was able to get that done without any issues.

Other than this gym, I have tried 24 hour fitness in Florida and Washington DC area.Negatives:This one is definitely the dirtiest. There is always a strong smell of urine in men’s bathrooms. There is always a line to use the showers and the members take very long showers, which is different from other places. Wet towels empty shampoo bottles, and sometimes even underwear and razors are all over the shower area! There is just one centrifugal drying machine and it has been broken for more than 2 weeks and there is no plastic bag for wet clothes. On the membership side, even when they say you can bring a guest, you can't. They just want to make the guest sign up and the gym manager is rude.Positives:It is a large gym with good number of equipmentsIt has a good size swimming poolThere are good personal trainers in the gym but their service is expensive

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place would have been great when it first opened back in its hey day. Now, its very used and dirty. The floors inside the locker room and sauna are dirty, and look like they haven't been mopped in two weeks. There are used towels everywhere on the floor in the locker rooms, on the equipment, and in the shower stalls! The sauna is not hot. The steam room stinks. The toilets in the bathrooms have urine everywhere. $50/month? Awful because they really do not take pride in cleanliness. :( Extremely disappointed. I want a refund.

I was a 24 hour fitness member 5 years ago. I wanted to try the super sports with a friend, who is currently a member. I printed out the 3 days trial and handed it to the sales. He gave me a tour, and sat down. He then gave me 3 types of memberships and asked me to pick one. I told him I wanted to try it out first before deciding. He actually said this." You have been to the gym before, whats the different between a 5lb weight here then the 5lb weight at other fitness center. They are the same, you don't need to try. Besides, I can't sign you up for the trial because you have been a member [ 5 years ago at a regular 24 hour ] before."NOTE: The fine prints CLEARLY states, you can use the 3 day pass if you have not been a 24 hour fitness within the last 6 months.I guess these sales can't tell the differences between 6 months and 5 years. I am avoiding this 24 hour fitness and so should you.Try City Sports, or Fitness 19.

They received new elliptical machines over a year ago. The new ones have never worked correctly. The only program that works on them that works is the manual one. None of the other program routines work. I have told the staff this several times and nothing has ever happened.Otherwise the place is OK for a 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport. Parking is limited after work, but almost all the rest of the equipment works. The men's showers can be overcrowded and for some reason they have a hard time keeping the soap dispensers functional.

IF a place is ran good all should be in working condition. Management needs to be on top of everything in order for member's satisfaction. the spinning bikes are in poor condition, the day I decided to visit this club, 4 bike computers had dead battery and on the fifth that I tried it felt like it needed maintenance. It should not take too much to keep a nice club up. Please keep 24 Super Sport Clubs top notch, don't let it run down.

It's easy to assume that the larger the gym, the more space you'll have to work out, or more open machines you have to hop on. Never the case. It's a nice facility and things are pretty well kept. However, no matter what time I've been here it always seems like a cluster of people on every treadmill, elliptical, or bench.Tip: there tends to be open space to stretch out and do abs in that weird secluded room to the left of the cardio machines.
