Horrible guest service, especially for black card members. On several occasions I went to the from desk and was not assisted until after being stared at then having to call and Planet Fitness Associate. The Total body enhancement machine is out of order. And I have been come here daily and have yet to see anyone do walkthrough, which is walking around and cleaning the gym.

On Labor Day I had attended the planet fitness in North Bergen, NJ, expecting to get a good workout in, however I was surprised with racial profiling and denied access to the gym. The workers were an old Caucasian lady & a young white male of whom I could tell was spanish so this was very off guard for me as I am also spanish. They would not provide me their names & they were very disrespectful. The lady Was demanding I act in a way she felt was “good” enough to be allowed to use the establishment.The excuse they gave me for denying me access was that my mask was not “cloth” meanwhile there were people in there with what ever they had available to use as a “mask”.

This gym refuses to let you cancel their month to month membership. They make you jump through hoops to quit and they still gru to bill your bank account. Sent them a certified letter and they were sending notices of fail attempts to collect. Never again.

This place is ok. The gym equipment is pretty clean but not everyone on the staff is well trained. they dont have too many different machines. I worked out but wanted to use other machines

The people who work here are rude with nasty attitudes. I watched a manager come out so rude to an employee in front of other employees and customers. Michelle was the managers name. She gave me an attitude and refused to admit she was in the wrong and continued with a nasty attitude towards me and others. I no longer wish to come here while she continues working there. Corporate needs to hire people with better manners.

Wish Google allowed 0 stars! This is the WORST planet fitness I’ve ever gone to! The manager is young, ignorant and unprofessional. Every time I go the attitude given to me is distasteful and unprofessional. The manager seems to be too young and inexperienced with customer service as he shows no respect at all. As I am trying to bring a friend as my guest, the manager starts talking to me about how he wants to fire a coworker!!!! I dont care!!!! They need to set up a meeting within the employees because every time I go they have a different rule, I am tired of going there and having to leave 2 minutes after because they can’t keep up with their rules!!!

I am a black card member for more than 3 years. Today about 11:30 AM I went to the gym to work out. After my intense work out I asked the manager to settup the massage bed for me.but he asked my memberships card, I politely told him that my card is in my locker. Because I was sweating and hot, I asked him if can setup the massage bed with out my card just for now. He disagreed. So I went to my locker get my card immediatly.As a professional business manager and accountant I don't like the managers answere. when I complained, he side I am hostile,and blegerant. I tried to reason with him. He started telling me that he is university graduated and he has reach vocabulary.Very sad, not only he doesn't deserve to be a manager, he shouldn't be in the building at all. I had the worst experience. I will take my businesses somewhere elseThe costumer is always right.

I have had the worst experience with the staff working there especially the manager. They Have a very disrespectful attitude and are rude. I lost a membership there just because I had a disagreement with the manager he lied to his manager above him and told him that I have a bunch of notes from being disrespectful to the other staff one that is untrue and I’ve never had a problem with anybody in that gym or the staff besides the manager for a manager to lie like that I really think that needs to be something done with the staff that works there because I’ve gone to the gym since 2015 and I’ve never ever been treated and talk down to like I was by that manager who seems like his job is too much for him what kind of a corporation cancel the membership because of a disagreement I think it’s absolutely unfair unprofessional and unethical the way I was treated but I wanted to leave anyway because they don’t have good machines there like I said before everything is old broken or doesn’t work And I brought them to new customers I will never refer anybody over there I think that the gym is in bad shape doesn’t have new and updated machines and they’re always having problems with broken machines as well the staff is very unprofessional Especially the manager. I also had a problem with my debit card get it being charged and they kept telling me that I didn’t have sufficient funds when I did!

Place is closed down due to a truck falling through the garage. I tried to freeze my account till they opened again but I’m told that I have to go to the sister location in Fairview. If I wanted to go to that gym I would have signed up to go there from the beginning. Now I have to cancel my membership until they can open the location again. I just don’t understand why they won’t be flexible and allow for exceptions to unforeseen circumstances. I was ok with this gym until they put me in a situation that I don’t care to be in.

I had recently transferred to this gym (June 25) after moving. The gym was closed for a month- whatever stuff happens. After calling the gym and being left in the dark for a month I was finally able to get in contact with somebody a month later. Turns out an email went out that members of this club were able to use a separate location. Problem is I never received an email, and there was not even a message the 5+ times I tried calling. They were completely unwilling to give me credit for a future month, or any sort of compensation for paying for a gym that was not even open. Poor business practice, don't waste your time or money.Edit: I posted this right after getting off the phone with the clubs Manager.
