I used to love this gym, and have had a membership since it has opened. In the past few months however, I have started to not enjoy going there anymore because it is way to crowded. Not only that but the people there never put their weights away, and they will hog machines they aren’t using. Additionally a lot of the people there have no spacial awareness. People have walked right into me, or have gotten in my space when i’m in the middle of doing an exercise. I also find it interesting that vasa decided to “ban” tripods when the people using them are always super respectful and courteous about it from what i’ve seen. It seems like Vasa is trying to fix all the wrong problems.

One day you are at Xperience fitness in Stallis wondering why there's a half-eaten chicken breast on the carpet next to a machine, and promising yourself you'll find a better place to work out...Well, we all know how that ended. Xperience abruptly closed and it was either Planet Fitness or Vasa. The pros are that its a huge facility with good amenities and new machines. It's also cheap. The cons are that its so busy that its nearly impossible to find a machine to use during most business hours. And when you do find one, someone is always lurking or asking how many sets you have left...every time. Also, everyone at this gym thinks they're a fitness influencer. I love that people feel good about themselves but not everything is content. It can be a little perplexing to have someone walk directly in front of you on the cable machine mid-set all so they can stare at themselves in the mirror for an extended period of time.Overall, I think Vasa is the best option for the price.

Been going here for about a month now. The gym itself is pretty dope, the equipment is new and maintained very well. It's exceptionally affordable considering the offered amenities. Downside, it's relatively busy from open until close. Can't really do anything about it, just kind of have to figure out how to get in where you fit in...For people interested in joining, you have to accept the fact that there are a lot of people who go there to sort of "occupy space". Lots of staring at themselves in the mirror, lots of selfies, socializing, all while using a bench/machine with obnoxiously light weight. I feel like a lot of people that go there don't actually go to exercise, they go to post on their social media in their gymshark outfits for the sake of approval from people they don't know. For instance, there was this girl doing body weight lunges with a button down, t shirt, sleeves rolled up, tied to make it a crop top and sports bra showing. Like how is that comfortable or practical at all to perform rigorous activities in???? Or like the 1 million Kyle's that travel in packs with their Moptop haircuts, reign energy drinks, 17 necklaces that they clearly got off a cheap intagram ad, black tank top, and Pajama pants asking me how many sets I have left so they can barely bench the bar.... all of the sets kyle, I have all of the sets left. With the exception of my rant, Nice open gym. Lots of annoying people that get in the way. But it gives you an opportunity to switch up your exercises while you wait for whatever machine you want to utilize to open. Also, the air-conditioning is on point

Just joined recently due to Xperience closing down....chose Vasa because having a pool is a deal breaker for me. 1st two nights working out have had all lanes of the pool taken by one person swimming laps and the other two lanes with people just standing around in the pool chatting instead of swimming. The whirlpool is nice...it would be better if all of the jets would work instead of just the few on the bottom. Too many people hogging machines also with their social media recording instead of working out which makes it even harder to get in a workout on the machines you want to use. If you don't like crowds this is not the gym to join....I normally go after 9pm and it is still super crowded....they seriously need to open another location to handle all the new members.

I love all the equipment that the gym has to offer - much better than other affordable gyms in the area. However….when signing up I specifically asked how busy the gym would be early in the morning - around 5 30. I was told it wouldn’t be as busy as the afternoons are. The first morning I pulled up I was suprised that I could barley find a parking spot. It was absolute chaos inside. People rushing to grab dumbbells as soon as they’re set down, no benches available etc. I wish that they would have another location open to fight over crowding. I would stay here forever if it weren’t for the crowds. Also, the site stated that there would be tanning - there is no tanning available at the new Berlin location.

Huge facility with good vibes! Walking in you feel like this is a gym I want to be at. Staffing is great and very helpful answering any questions you might have. Price is more than reasonable which I was impressed with. Only issues I have is they open at 5am and I like to go earlier in the morning because of work. So I can only go after which is prime time. It gets way to crowded in the afternoon. Surprisingly with how big this gym is I would expect them to have more than just one specific machine. I would like to see two to three of them especially the chest ones. Standing around waiting to use a machine where someone is just sitting on there phone gets old. Although when you finally get a chance to use them, they are top notch very smooth and I have been having some great workouts again. Ones where I actually feel sore from the next day.
